GTA 26 battery garden pruner: for pruning trees and shrubs
The STIHL GTA 26 battery yard pruner uses lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AS-System and is suitable for home yard pruning of shrubs and trees as well as for tree maintenance. The powerful cuts of the STIHL 1/4" PM3 saw chain also make shredding green cuttings or other work with wood much easier. The saw chain ensures a clean cutting pattern and rapid work progress.
The non-slip control handle makes the yard pruner highly ergonomic. Your hands are protected by a flexible protective guard. The STIHL GTA 26’s sprocket cover and wing nut mean that you can easily change the chain without tools, making this yard pruner very easy to care for and maintain. Note: The STIHL AS 2 lithium-ion battery in the GTA 26 from the STIHL AS-System can also be used with the STIHL HSA 26 battery shrub shears, but not with their predecessor, the STIHL HSA 25 (discontinued).

FLEXIBLE PROTECTIVE HOOD
FOR SAFE WORKING. With the protective hood over the chain, you can work effectively and as safely as possible when pruning branches or shrubs. Your view of the cuts you make remains unobstructed. The flexible, asymmetrical protective hood can be folded out to 90 degrees so that you can use the full length of the saw bar.

The long-life air filter system for cut-off machines does not collect coarse dust particles, but uses cyclone air routing to separate them and then discharges them into the ambient air. With just this first step the system removes around 80% of dust particles in the intake air. This enables an extremely long filter service life, and makes the tool easy to maintain.
